BODY CAMERA TRIALS FOR EDUCATION

Increasingly teaching and security staff at educational institutions are facing situations where their staff safety is being put at risk. To help address these challenges, schools have begun trials of body cameras to aid safety, monitor behaviour and improve the safeguarding of staff.

The Education sector also is identifying body worn camera technology as a means to improve teaching and learning by deploying them on teachers to record lessons. The footage can then be used to help train staff and provide feedback to students.

We’ve put together two case studies illustrating the benefits of body cameras. There’s also a comparison spec sheet below to see how the smaller (Calla body camera) for teaching staff differs from the larger Reveal body camera for school security staff. There’s also a link to the pricing sheets for both.
